This was the first dress I made when I picked up sewing again, and I’m still happy with the results!
a “newer” pattern this is a reprint of a dress from 1957, made out of a striped cotton shirting, what i love is that the stripes on the top half of this dress are set at 45 degrees, then the skirt section has the stripes vertically in from and back, then due to the way the pattern laid out on the fabric the stripes move in a half moon direction on the sides. I’ve made view A (center) with the cummerbund of view C
