There are times when I wish my vintage patterns would sew themselves.
Lately I’ve been so busy with work and art projects I don’t know if I’m coming or going. Really this isn’t a bad thing as the extra dosh helps me get closer to my goal of living vintage everyday. But it means that each sewing project is taking that much longer.
oh well. 
the sewing project I’m working on now will knock your socks off!

OK so if you’d seen a calendar autumn has been here for a while and winter is fast approaching, but the weather has been something special this year.
A cool summer that kept the sweaters out, and on Halloween day I had the windows open (a minor miracle here in CT).
but now it’s time or me to get focused on sewing for the winter, out come the patterns for longer skirts in heavier materials.
I’m starting my fall/winter lineup with a great 2-piece suit in white silk boucle followed by another suit in a combination of camel colored wool gabardine and houndstooth.
Well the Ohana is over and what a time!
I’d recommend it to anyone who didn’t get a chance to go this year or who enjoys a tropical themed party. it was intense and what a blast. what i can tell you is that it was great and 4 days later I’m still sorting through photos and videos to get them all loaded. the link will be coming soon!
The event that I’ve been working so hard on so many sewing projects is this weekend!
I’m so excited to go I can hardly stand it, and I’ve already started getting the list of things to pack. I’ve got a few new outfits to shoot, and a few outfits that I’d sewn a while ago that i hope will really come to life against the background of this fabulous event!
it wouldn’t be me if i didn’t have a computer with me, so I’ll be uploading new pics and videos every night and possible more if i use up the space in my camera quickly 
I can’t wait! we leave Friday morning!
well, so i’m a webdeveloper when i’m not wowrking on vintage clothing, and as such i’m experimenting with google adsense.
so far the links are all sites that are relative in content, and many are sites that i’ve been too, and that will be appearing in the links page as soon as i get time to add to that page.
realy the site is about the clothing and style, not links, adn if i start getting complaints or if the links are off content, then i’ll be taking them down.
it’s about the vintage, not the marketting. but i do like to experiment
